Freak Out (2004)

Best friends Merv and Onkey are typical teenage deadbeats, contentedly idling their lives away until the perfect project drops into their laps: their very own fixer-upper serial killer. The trio navigate their way through innumerable horror clichés, childish innuendoes, and an endless supply of bum jokes as this cheap-and-cheerful horror comedy romps to its explosive finale. It’s a deeply silly movie, but so packed with ideas, fun and enthusiasm that it’s also deeply, shamefully enjoyable.

Extras: Commentaries; deleted scenes; music videos; documentaries. ‘Bumfeeling 101’ is the highlight, but only just: there’s a huge amount of extra material, all just as silly and hilarious as the movie.
